Trail Diversity

Muir Woods offers a variety of hiking experiences for visitors of all levels. Choose from a ½-hour loop, a 1-hour loop, a 1½-hour loop, or explore longer hikes that extend into the enchanting surroundings of Mount Tamalpais State Park. The trails within Muir Woods are thoughtfully designed, with some being asphalted or boardwalked for ease of access, while others, perched on canyon walls, present a more rugged challenge.
