I write regularly for the Times Union about hiking in the Hudson Valley, Catskills, and beyond.
Since 2023, I’ve contributed dozens of pieces to the Times Union’s excellent Hudson Valley Outdoors section. I write with the same goal I bring to my own website: to help people discover great trails, hike more confidently, and feel more connected to the natural world.
My articles cover everything from seasonal hiking guides to kid-friendly hikes, from steep scrambles and waterfall loops to gear tips and hiking with dogs.
